Something Called Biometrics

My biometrics test was scheduled for the 18th of this month. I'm excited because it hasn't been a month since I submitted the paperwork to USCIS and they seem to be moving fast...It all depends on what area you live in. Maybe Miami is a fast processing center, I don't know.
It sounds painful, but it's only an appointment to take your fingerprints. It takes 10 minutes or so. The only down side is that it's on the other coast and that I hope I won't have to go alone. It sucks that it's in the middle of the week and Adrian would have to take the day off but I'm thinking why not spend an entire day over there, maybe visiting IKEA??? OMG, what a great idea I just got! I'll have to schmooze my way into convincing Adrian to come... wish me luck.

In other news, I went to the ophtalmologist today for what I thought to be a tear duct block. But I was surprised to find out it's actually an allergy. Hm, that's weird, I never have allergies. My eyes have been dry and itchy for the past 2 weeks and while I was hoping it'd go away eventually, it only got worse. To the point where I couldn't take it anymore. Doc said it's normal in this season..."welcome to Florida"! Pollens got to me, I guess. Go figure, I have an oak tree right in my backyard. Fortunately, he was nice enough to give me drops, we'll see if they work. Talk about it...I gotta get them in my eyes...

Peace out!
