I was happily hibernating in my "time-away-from-photography" laziness when Angela asked if I was available to take a few shots of their little family... My heart skipping a beat and nervous like on my first day of school, I accepted the challenge. I was looking forward to it! Especially because they are very good friends of ours and it was going to be the first time I'd meet Veil, their puppy. Ohhhhhh, their puppy... Oh my, what a sweet face she has!! I immediately interviewed her for "Rusty's girlfriend" position... I think she's too young though... :)
I met Angela and Brandon at a shoot we put together in a laundromat a while ago and I also helped Angela give tribute to her Grandma in a very special way... We became good friends during this time and I am always honored to capture any of their special moments...
We met up in downtown Naples and walked around... I've never had a shoot with a puppy before, so this was different. It helped immensely that "Grandma" was there with extra treats and ready to distract Veil at any time. If a small cild has the attention span of zero point two milliseconds, can you imagine a puppy?! Needless to say, those treats came in handy! I have to say, she's the most spoiled and most loved little doggie ever!

We lucked out with some amazing "golden hour" light...That light right before the sun sets when everything just looks more gorgeous...
It is always a pleasure photographing these two hotties:
They make the absolutely best parents to this puppy...
...and they'll make best parents to a human baby in the future sometime! :)
