We Said "I Do"

It was the most beautiful thing we've ever done together. And it was the most important thing we've ever done so far in our lives. I always dreamed of a wedding ceremony surrounded by nature, by lots of green vegetation, blue skies and waters... That is exactly what we got. I am not kidding when I tell you this island is Paradise! Every inch of it was worth photographing. Our surroundings were in perfect harmony with how we felt that day. It was just us and two people that mean a lot to us and... fotunately, we were able to have my parents watch the whole thing on the computer thanks to Skype... Amazing what technology can do, isn't it?

We said our vows in a secluded gazebo on the north side of the island. We were in front of the water and there was a set of stairs coming down to this beautiful site. All this between grapefruit trees, orange trees and lush vegetation. It was a short ceremony but a very special and personal one. I felt the happiest! I am giddy in all the pictures. All our photos are funny and have personality, we love them! Our officiant doubled as our photographer and our videographer doubled as my Maid of Honor... Everybody had more than one role. Even the groom was a ring-bearer too!

Everything turned out better than I expected! The only negative was that none of our friends and family was there! and that we never had a reception afterwards. But, we'll see what happens. Is it crazy to still want a dream wedding? Is it a waste of money? Should I just move on and save for our honeymoon? We're married anyway, so I guess we wouldn't need another ceremony... I don't know. Right now, it shouldn't even matter. A wedding is not within my priorities right now. I can't plan anything until I have a job. And that's the main thing right now.
