Anytime Photography | Naples, FL ~ Anna and John, siblings

When my own brother was here visiting us at the end of August this year, I made sure to take a million photos. I wanted to stop the time only for a moment, if I could. I wanted to immortalize as much of our time together as possible so that when he left, I would have the digital memories... Life is busy and we don't always have time to stop to smell the roses... Someone moves to another state, someone else goes to college, and suddenly the family only gets together on the holidays, if lucky... ( I, for one, haven't been together with my family in Romania for the holidays for six years!) But when we do get together, like this summer with my own brother, I knew it was important to get the camera out.

Anna and John's Mom thought the same way during the Thanksgiving break... She wanted to stop the time for a moment and capture her two kids while Anna was home from college. Loved shooting them, as they constantly reminded me of me and my little brother. John is the younger brother, ever patient and kind. Anna - beautiful, protective. My job was extremely easy, since they are both adorable and easy going...

Without much ado, here are their best shots.

John is a junior in highschool and is getting ready to pick some schools to attend after he graduates. He's also model material, he just doesn't know it yet.

And finally, this one is my personal favorite.

Here's to sibling love and support, for little brothers supporting their big sisters and big sisters protecting their little brothers. There's nothing better!

Maternity Photography | Naples, FL ~ Cara and Jason

Once upon a time, seven years ago, there were two girls that clicked at a company Christmas party, while one needed a shoulder to cry on after a tough break-up... They used to work together, share everything, talk about everything and then some, and before you knew it, they became very good friends... Cara and I have maintained our friendship throughout these years and we've seen each other get engaged, lose Grandmothers, get married, care for our dogs, go through life's ups and downs and now get pregnant - her, obviously.

Cara and Jason have met in college and have been together for a long time... I was lucky and honored to be a part of their special day in Buffalo six years ago when they said their "I Do"'s and I've seen their love blossom through the years.

You know how people get married and you see them fall out of love after a while? Not these two! The way Jason looks at Cara is something very special and looking at it from the outside, it's really awesome because his love and appreciation for his wife has grown as the years went by and you can't help but notice how fond he is of her...even more so now!

They are THE absolute perfect match: they are both very laid back, easy going people, they make the best, most loyal friends one could ever ask for, they're avid sports fans - whatever sport that might be!!, and also great players of golf and hockey... What guy wouldn't love a girl that knows absolutely everything about football, is competitive in her Fantasy Football, plays a mean hockey even after two ACL tears, kicks butt in golf, has run the Naples half marathon in the past, anddddd looks fabulous and pretty while doing it?? Cara knows her stuff, she's a freakin rockstar! I, on the other hand, am lucky to name the teams in football without fail... I know for sure that this baby will come out with a puck in his/her hand, just watch!

These two are the solidifier behind my early relationship with my hubby...No joke. In Jay's words at the time, "what other guy would be confident enough to show up to a Halloween date with you wearing a mullet? - this is the guy". Adrian showed up to a party as a rockstar "looking for groupies" wearing this disgusting mullet I still hate, and that, apparently, sealed the deal. Hahaha Oh, and his dance moves... Jay was pretty impressed with Adrian's dance moves... I am sure he even said that whoever has dance moves like that, could be a good husband! LOL He didn' have to say that, I knew... DUH!

Okay, enough about the past, let's talk about present and the awesome future for these two! Cara and I planned on having babies at the same time, but I am an eternal procrastinator... But let me tell you, looking at her, she just makes it look so easy and pretty and doable. She makes it look trendy and fun, that's for sure!

For our photo shoot, we went for an "organic, homey feel", where I wanted to capture them in their natural home environment doing their own thing. Their dog Ace is a huge part of their life and they wanted to involve him as "the big brother". So, here are their best shots. (Make-up by me)

We then headed to the golf course, Jay's favorite place! Golf runs through this family's veins so it was only fitting we make it out on the course... Thanks to Jason's Dad, Doug, we had a fancy ride...

Watch out, Tiger, this baby, whether it's a girl or a boy, will be scoring an albatross by the age of two!!

I cannot wait to find out whether I am having a niece or a nephew and I can't wait to spoil that little munchkin like any "bad" auntie would do! I love you guys and thank you for trusting me with taking your beautiful photos - I'm so excited about the future and all the wonderful memories we will be creating together as families...
